Les Misérables: 25th Anniversary Concert
Les Misérables is one of the best musicals ever. From London's O2 Arena in October 2010, the 25th Anniversary Concert has a great cast with all wonderful performances. The show has a very big chorus and three video screens. The stage is also used for some sets. Les Misérables is set in 1815 in France, and follows the stories of Jean Valjean (who is first shown being released from imprisonment after serving 19 years) and many other characters in their struggle for redemption and revolution. Some of my favorite songs are "Prologue: Work Song", "Prologue: What Have I Done?", "I Dreamed a Dream", "The Confrontation", "Castle on a Cloud", and "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables". The original 1985 cast is also here. They are brought on stage after the show ends and perform many songs with the current cast.

This Britney Spears concert from Canada is from 2011 and has many of her popular songs. The concert has lots of dancing and very nice sets. Some of my favorite performances are "Piece of Me", "Big Fat Bass", "Gimme More", "Baby One More Time", "I'm a Slave for You", and "Womanizer". The music videos "Hold It Against Me", "Till the World Ends", "I Wanna Go", and "Criminal" are also here. I also like her Blackout, Circus, and Femme Fatale albums. Her 90s album ...Baby One More Time is on my 90s Music blog.

This Shakira concert from Paris, France is from 2011. The show is very lively and has lots of dancing by Shakira. Some of my favorite performances are "Whenever, Wherever", "Gypsy", "La Tortura", "Loca", "She Wolf", "Ojos Así", "Hips Don't Lie", and "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)". Many others are here including many Spanish songs. Some of the extras include rehearsals and Shakira golfing.

The never completed SMiLE album by The Beach Boys, from the 1966-1967 sessions, has some of the best songs in pop music, with many psychedelic songs. Some of my favorites are "Heroes and Villains", "Gee", "I'm in Great Shape", "Barnyard", "Good Vibrations", "Do You Like Worms? (Roll Plymouth Rock)", and "The Elements: Fire (Mrs. O'Leary's Cow)". I also like their album That's Why God Made the Radio.

Christina Perri - lovestrong.

Christina has a great voice. The songs on lovestrong. are mostly pop and are all very good. "Mine" is my favorite. Other songs here are "Bluebird", "Arms", "Bang Bang Bang", "Distance", "Jar of Hearts", "Interlude", "Penguin", "Miles", "The Lonely", "Sad Song", and "Tragedy". A very strong debut album.

My other favorites songs are "When You Wish Upon a Star", "Nella Fantasia", "O Mio Babbino Caro", and "Imaginer". I also like her O Holy Night, Songs from the Silver Screen, and Awakening albums

Il Volo
These young Italian singers have amazing voices. All of the songs on the album show their vocals. Some of my favorites are "E Piu' Ti Penso", "'o Sole Mio", "Smile", "Per Te", and "Painfully Beautiful", but all of the songs are very good. Il Volo has a giant future in music.

Britney Spears' new album Femme Fatale is a very strong album of pop, dance-pop, and electropop music. It seems that any track on the album can be a hit song, since they are all equally good. Some of my favorite songs are "Gasoline" and "Criminal". A fun album to listen to, and her best album to date. Femme Fatale will be a big seller. The deluxe version of the album has four extra songs. I also like her Blackout and Circus albums, and her Femme Fatale Tour concert. Her 90s album ...Baby One More Time is on my 90s Music blog.

This is a wonderful jazz album by Esperanza Spalding. Esperanza's style of singing and the songs will make you a jazz fan. Some of my favorites are "Really Very Small", "Chacarera", "Winter Sun", and "Inutil Paisagem". Other songs here are "Little Fly", "Knowledge of Good and Evil", "Wild Is the Wind", "Apple Blossom", "As a Sprout", "What a Friend", and "Short and Sweet". I also like her 12 Little Spells album.
