Jackie Evancho - O Holy Night

O Holy Night

Jackie Evancho has an amazing voice for her age. This EP has Christmas songs, and is perfect to play for the holidays. "O Holy Night" is my favorite of the four on the album. Others here are "Silent Night", "Panis Angelicus", and "Pie Jesu". It also comes with a DVD, and has her performances from when she was on America's Got Talent. Classical crossover music may become very popular now with her album sales. I also like her Dream with Me, Songs from the Silver Screen, and Awakening albums.

Yo-Yo Ma - Bach: Unaccompanied Cello Suites

Bach: Unaccompanied Cello Suites

Bach is from the Baroque period in classical music. He is one of the greatest composers of all time. The six Bach Cello Suites Nos. 1-6, BWV 1007-1012 are from the early 1700s. They are some of my favorite classical works for cello. This album has all six cello suites with great cello playing by Yo-Yo Ma.

I Told You I Was Trouble: Amy Winehouse Live in London

I Told You I Was Trouble: Amy Winehouse Live in London

This is a very good concert from London, with Amy singing many of her songs. The band is very lively with great playing. I also like the stage set for the show and the band. My favorite songs are "Back to Black", "Wake Up Alone", "Rehab", "You Know I'm No Good", and "Me & Mr Jones". Many more of her songs are also here. I also like her Back to Black album.
